A city that stopped

London is unique. It is different from any other place I have been in the world. It holds it's own little bit of magic. I adore and appreciate living by the beach but there is something about a city that I just love. London, with its red telephone boxes, black taxis and streets that are so full of life and character is one of those. And today, as we walked the streets with Will and Sophie, I saw it from another perspective. Rather than feeling so small in its expanse, the city seemed to hold its breath around us. Strangers stopped and stared. Cars and buses waited. And why wouldn't they? Because these two looked absolutely incredible: Will, in his dashing top hat and tails and Sophie in an exquisite fitted Pronovias gown. Completely dashing and so stunningly elegant, no wonder these two turned heads.

The Merchant Taylors' Hall where the reception was held continued the theme of elegance with its glorious chandeliers and rich decor. The flowers so beautifully impacted the grand hall where guests ate and danced the night away. This wedding was one of style, grandeur and opulance yet it was also full of silly fun, fantastic music, the odd cigar and lots of dancing.

Will and Sophie are a beautiful, fun loving, adventurous, genuine and faithful couple. (Forgive my English in listing so many adjectives). I know this because we have known Will for many years and have watched him grow up. We have experienced his genuine, caring spirit and now he has chosen himself a beautiful lady who matches him completely. We witnessed on this day what others think of them; They are so loved and supported by so many and this day celebrated all that they are to each other and to others too.

Thank you so much to both the Perry family and Garforth-Bles family for having us. You made us feel part of your families and we loved every minute.
