Country estates, manor houses and exclusive venues across the South of England
Where We Do Our Finest Work
Over 15 years and close to 300 weddings, we have had the privilege of working at some of the most breathtaking venues in the South of England. Country estates where the light in the late afternoon turns everything golden. Manor houses with rooms that have seen centuries of celebrations. Private family homes where the garden has been the backdrop to generations of memories.
These are the places we know intimately — the hidden corners, the best light, the spots that don't appear in the brochure but make for extraordinary photographs. If you are planning your wedding at one of the venues below, we already know your venue and we would love to talk.
If your venue isn't listed, please don't let that put you off. We travel throughout the UK and internationally for the right wedding — and discovering a new venue with a wonderful couple is one of our greatest pleasures.
Pylewell Park
Hampshire / Dorset Border
A private country estate of breathtaking elegance, set within acres of parkland on the edge of the New Forest with views across the Solent. Pylewell Park is one of our most beloved venues — the light across the lawn in the late afternoon, the walled gardens, the intimacy of a truly private estate. We have photographed numerous weddings here and know every corner of it.
Came House
Dorset
A stunning Grade II* listed Georgian country house just outside Dorchester, surrounded by parkland and formal gardens. Came House has an understated elegance that suits couples looking for something refined and classic — it photographs beautifully in every season.
Smedmore House
Dorset
A beautifully preserved Georgian manor house on the Isle of Purbeck, with views across Kimmeridge Bay and the Jurassic Coast. Smedmore has an intimacy and warmth that belies its grandeur — it feels like a home, because it is one. Weddings here have a very particular quality of light and atmosphere that we find endlessly inspiring.
St Giles House
Dorset
The ancestral home of the Earls of Shaftesbury, St Giles House is one of Dorset's most magnificent venues — a Grade I listed country house set within a spectacular private park. The interiors are extraordinary and the grounds offer endless possibilities. A venue that rewards a photographer who knows how to work with grand architecture and natural light in equal measure.
Lulworth Castle
Dorset
Set within the private Lulworth Estate on the stunning Jurassic Coast, Lulworth Castle is one of the most dramatic and romantic wedding venues in the South of England. The castle itself provides extraordinary backdrops, and the estate grounds offer sweeping countryside views that are unlike anything else in Dorset.
The Hurlingham Club
London
One of London's most exclusive and prestigious private members' clubs, The Hurlingham Club sits within 42 acres of private grounds in Fulham — a remarkable oasis in the city. The combination of elegant interiors, sweeping riverside gardens and an impeccably high-end atmosphere makes it one of the finest wedding venues in the country.
Pynes House
Devon
A privately owned country house near Exeter, Pynes House offers the warmth and intimacy of a family home combined with the grandeur of a Georgian estate. The interiors are beautifully decorated and the grounds — sweeping lawns, walled gardens, mature woodland — provide extraordinary variety for wedding photography.
Somerley Estate
Hampshire
A magnificent private estate on the edge of the New Forest, Somerley is one of Hampshire's grandest and most beautiful wedding venues. The Georgian house, the formal gardens, the lake and the surrounding parkland make it a photographer's dream. We have worked here multiple times and it never disappoints.
The Private Home
Anywhere!
Some of our most beautiful and meaningful weddings have taken place not at an established venue at all, but at a private family home — a country house, a family estate, a garden that has been in the family for generations. These weddings have a quality that is almost impossible to replicate elsewhere. The personal significance of the location adds an emotional layer to every photograph. We love them.
Your Venue Not Listed Here?
This page reflects some of the venues we have photographed weddings to date — it is by no means the full extent of where we work. We travel throughout the South of England, across the UK, and internationally for the right wedding. If you are planning a wedding at a venue or at a private home or family estate or are looking for photographers who are experienced in working with unique, unlisted locations — please do get in touch. We would be delighted to discuss it.
Every venue is unique. We always understand and scope it, study the light, explore the spaces, and know exactly where and when the best photographs will be made.
