Nostalgia

Tom and I got married 10.5 years ago near Corfe at Kingston Country Courtyard. The views are incredible from there boasting Corfe Castle just below it and Poole harbour in the distance. 

Laura and Ash live on and run a farm near by which has the same incredible views. It’s a very nostalgic place for us and it is always such a privilege to return and take photos in the area. On the evening we shot Laura and Ash’s engagement shoot, the clouds were thick and despite it being early September, it felt too dark early in the evening. We caught the ferry from Poole, slightly fearing the quickly fading light. But we were not in the least bit disappointed. That beautiful view presented us with a small gap in the clouds and beams of powerful sunlight streamed through. It was utterly stunning and one of my favourite shoots of the year. 

Ash and Laura are getting married next Saturday at the same place - their home. It is so incredibly beautiful and we can’t wait.
